第二屆國際海報交流展, 宁波2001
The 2nd International Poster Exhibition, Ningbo 2001
'99服飾与文化國際海報交流展已于1999年10月14日在宁波天一閣博物館隆重開幕，展出來自全球20多個國家与地區的300多余件海報作品，300余名海內外平面設計師參加開幕式及學術交流活動，為國際平面設計界所矚目。
鑒于'99服飾与文化國際海報交流展所獲得的成功，第二屆國際海報交流展, 宁波2001將如期于2001年11月5日在宁波舉行，屆時國際最优秀的海報設計作品將在中國美麗的港口城市—宁波展出，同時將邀請部分評審團成員在開幕期間作專題演講及舉行相關一系列的平面設計學術交流活動。

1、參賽對象不限年齡、國籍及職業。
2、所有參賽作品一律不收參賽費，每個作者參賽件數不限(系列海報作品作為單個作品)。
3、交寄的作品必須一式兩份(歡迎加寄一件海報作品作為對本次活動的贊助，并請在背后標簽上注明)。
4、呈交的參賽作品必須是膠印或絲网印刷的成品。 5、作者必須提供參賽作品的數碼資料或120正片，以便作品集的出版。數碼資料要求如下：儲存為TIFF或EPS格式、A4幅面、作350dpi精度、CMYK的影像，字体必須轉換成矢量或將資料中所用的字体一同附上。
6、報名表必須以一式兩份隨同作品寄出。
7、作品標簽用膠帶貼在每張作品的反面右下角。
8、為保証良好的質量，有破損的海報不被接受，因此建議要小心包裝。
9、組委會有權拒受任何對各國文化或道德有侵犯以及不符合參賽要求的作品。
10、第一次評審團成員允許每人遞交五件以內的海報作品進入展覽及評獎。
11、所有呈交的作品將為大賽組委會檔案室所有，所有作品不返回。
12、大賽組委會有出版与推廣參賽作品的權力。
13、每位入選海報作品的設計師都將免費得到一冊大賽的作品集及入選証書。

The International Fashion & Culture Poster Exhibition '99 was
open in the Ningbo Tianyige Museum on the 14th, October, 1999. More than 300
poster works from over 20 countries have been exhibited. Not less than 300 graphic
designers from the domestic and foreign circles took part in the opening ceremony
and the latter academic communication. The whole field of international graphic
Design focuses attention on the exhibition.
Owing to its success, The 2nd International Poster Exhibition, Ningbo
2001 is being held in Ningbo on the 5th, November. In the due time, the most
excellent posters from the world will be exhibited in the picturesque port city
--- Ningbo. Meanwhile, experts in the jury will be invited to deliver speeches.
A serious of academic activities will be carried out.
The event aims to provide international graphic designers with more
opportunities to communicate and discuss with each other, to foster the graphic
design and improve the level of graphic design.

CONDITIONS OF ENTERING AND PARTICIPATING:
1. There is no limits as to the age, nationality and profession in "The
2nd international Poster Exhibition, Ningbo 2001".
2. There is no limits to the number of entries submitted by each entrant. (
series posters are to be treated as one item ).
3. Entries should be submitted in two copies in good condition ( one more will
be kindly accepted as a sponsor ).
4. Participation fee is not required. All the entries will not be returned.
5. The entries must be the finished works of offset printing or silk-screen
printing.
6. The digital file or 120mm/4X5 inches colour slide of each poster should be
provided by the participants for the publication of the collection. Indication
of the digital file: please keep it in TIFF or EPS format, A4, 350dpi precision,
CMYK images, The font should be vectored otherwise the font used in the file
should be provided at the same time.
7. Each poster should bear a label stick on the right corner at the back.
8. To insure good quality, suggestions are made that the poster be well packed
in case of any damage during transportation.
9. The committee will decline all posters invading the culture or moral of every
countries, and those not in accordance to the requirements in the exhibition.
10. The posters for exhibition will be selected by the first judging panel;
the second international jury will award all prizes and certificates. The first
Judging panel permits every participate to submit no more than 5 works for the
exhibition and competition
11. All the entries works will be owned by the organization committee file office.
12. The organization committee reserves the rights to publish or otherwise reproduce
all posters entered in the competition.
13. Each designer of the pre-selected poster will get a catalog of the exhibition
works as well as the certificate.

2. Two gold awards ( one will be limited on the theme FUSION )
3. Three silver awards ( no concerning to categories )
4. Five bronze awards
5. Twelve excellences
6. Four judge's awards

C. Ideological or society welfare - creations concerning politics, the conditions
and existence of man, civilization problems, social and political action

DEADLINE: All entries must arrive before the 15th, September
2001.
