2002汉诺威iF概念设计竞赛
iF Design Award 2002--Concepts
iF is increasingly developing into a brand, and the benefits from
winning an iF design continue to grow. Many people who view design as a business
factor unquestionably consider the iF awards to be the most important design
contest in the world. The iF design awards help promote the image of designers
and manufacturers. They are an outstanding marketing instrument, and are the
consumer's assurance of above-average quality. Compete for an iF design award,
and let an iF label draw attention to your design expertise as a trademark with
a winning impact on your customers. Winners receive an iF certificate as visible
evidence of their success. In addition, the top contestants will be awarded
a "Design Oscar" i.e. an iF Gold or Silver Award. In recent years,
these trophies were designed by different big-name designers; in the future,
they will be based on a sculpture created by Herbert Schulte in 1997. The iF
design award has been opened up for students as a way of promoting young talent
and introducing students to international design standards at an early stage.
The relevant contest category is called "Concepts" and, as an additional
incentive, prize money of EUR 25,000 will be awarded. Because, after all, being
one of the best is something to celebrate!
